He was so kind to me. JoAnne and I use to love to run down the hill when he came home on the boat and chat to him and run around the boat- and help him and chat with him, and then chat with him the next day in the garden, and he would take us ( JoAnne and me ), for a ride in the truck or wagon, and buy us a soda-pop. He made sure I felt at home and threw m&m's at me to make sure I felt at home lol..it was so comforting in the quiet sleeping house when he came home off the boat-- hearing...

Skippy and family, Larry and I are so sorry for the loss of Jennings. What a great guy, we always enjoyed being around him. Love to you all. You will be in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Captain Jennings family. I will always treasure the fond memories aboard the "Bogue Sound" with him. He was a great man and I am honored to have known him.
