Not sure what to say?

Dear Dorothy,
I'm so sorry to hear about Jerry. It was such a great pleasure to see the two of you at our class reunion. Jerry and I spent quite a while chatting about old times.
Please know that my prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to learn of Jerry's death. We grew up at BHS and Quaker Memorial Presbyterian together, lots of good memories. My deepest sympathies to his wife, his mother and to David.

Mrs. Cooper,

HI DOROTHY I AM SO SORRY YOUR BEST FRIEND HAS GONE TO A PEACEFUL PLACE. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING I AM HEAR AS A FRIEND. BLESS YOU AND GET WELL SOON LOVE TO YOU BECKY WHEELER

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Jerry at Lord Botetourt. He always made me laugh. He will be missed.

On behalf of Jerry's family,
I would like to thank you all for your kinds words. It is unbelievably hard to accept the death of the greatest man I've ever known. I know hearing stories and condolences has helped my family and I at least start to cope with this tragedy. I hope to see all of my grandfather's friends and acquaintances tomorrow at Oakey's to celebrate the life of this remarkable man.

Being only a few months apart in age, Jerry & I grew up much more as brothers than uncle & nephew til our late teens. I went into the Navy; he went on to college, married & had a daughter.
Every time I came home, Jerry spoke of his love of teaching & his students. Jerry was a unique man who will be deeply missed. Kay will miss their discussions of things earth-bound & extra-terrestrial.
Dorothy, know our thoughts are with you at this time.
