Not sure what to say?

Jett was a kind-hearted lady and always brought a bit of light and joy when one visited with her. We will always remember her many acts of kindness as our thoughts and prayers are extended to Irving and family.

My sincere sympathy to Irving and the Groves family in the passing of a gracious and giving lady, Jett. Jett and Irving's support of Martinsville's charities, including the Boy Scouts, have had a positive effect on the lives of so many youth. May God bless.

I was saddened by the news of Jett's death. She was a high school friend, a lovely person, and a real community leader.

We are so sorry for the loss of such a loving person in Jett. She was always positive and had a kind word for everyone. Her memory will endeavor through her children, grandchildren, and great-granchildren. Much love to all.

Irving, we have known both you and Jett for many, many years and also worked for you for many, many years. Together you both represented the foundation not only of PTB but also of Martinsville-Henry County. We are so sorry for the loss of Jett but know that you will find comfort in the shining of her star which cannot be extinguished.

Our sincere sympathies and love.

Ted & Ruby Balabanis & Family

For nearly 35 years, Jett and Mr. G were
treasured neighbors and friends. Jett's presence, whether because of hurts or happiness, brought a basket of love to our door. She possessed a spunk that lifted us and a sense of humor that never dimmed. Despite her tiny physical stature, she had a big heart that never stopped giving the greatest of all gifts and the most powerful thing in this world -- love. Thank you, Jett, for your example of giving and love.

There is a big hole in a lot of hearts tonight with the passing of our earthly angel Jett. My prayers are with her family at this hard time. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, Mat. She was a loving and lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
