“So sad to hear of Joan's passing. Many friends from the DBE days admired and respected her. We have many fond memories of our activities and functions.
“Dear Ian, Kate, Helen, Mike Maggie, Connor, Owen, David, Eric, and Laura. I am so sorry for the loss of Joan. She was such a lovely woman. I feel privileged to have spent a considerable amount of time talking with her this summer at Connor's graduation. I will think of her fondly when I pass large sweeping fields of flowers. Prayers of healing and peace to all of you as you go through this difficult time.
“To Joan's family- we were so sorry to hear of the loss of our long-time neighbor. Joan has been a member of our community for many years. She helped us make all original plantings and kept up the landscaping in community areas. We will very much miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Sincerely, the St. Francis Way board of directors
