Not sure what to say?

Dear Baltes Family,
I only knew John as an elementary boy, as I was friends with his parents and grandparents while I was a college student in MN. His grandmother became another mother to me, as my parents were missionaries in Greece. This morning, I decided to try to find John's mom, Phyllis on Facebook and much to my shock, the news of John's passing came up. I am so saddened to hear this news for all of you. I have such fond memories of John, being full of life and remember that...

Kristin
A part of my heart is missing upon hearing this news. John's light will always shine in my life. My thoughts and prayers go with you.

Dear Kristin,Rachael, and Jake, we learned about John's passing into the Lord's presence through our son Michael Wooten. Mike was so influenced by you all while at BFA and afterward too. We remember you too, in our brief visits to see our daughter Chrissy and later to see Mike while we were in Portugal with GEM. John has touched so many. What an example of Christian love and service you all were to us on the periphery as you loved our children, especially Mike. Our prayers go out to you...

We send our thoughts and prayers to your family.

Dear Kristin, Rachel and Jake,

Our whole family and lots of friends here in Addis Ababa are mourning John's passing. In his few brief visits to Ethiopia, John made such a positive impression on many people. He was especially an inspiration to me as I had the privilege of working with him over the past year. I will never forget him or the impact he has had on my life.

Our prayers are with you.

Kristin and family, I am so sorry for your loss of a Husband and Dad. You will be in my prayers. Praying for comfort and peace through this time in your life. Sending hugs your way.

Dear Baltes Family,
I pray that your family will feel God's provisions of grace, love and comfort you as grieve the loss of your loved one. I knew John at M.A. He was the kid you didn't mind sitting next to in class because of his good sense of humor and outlook on life. It sounds like you have many memories to cherish.

Kristin, Rachel, and Jake,
I did not have the pleasure of getting to know John, but it is clear that he was an exceptional man. I know that his legacy will live on through your lovely children. I know that Cliff is saddened by Jake's loss. We pray for strength and Gods Grace. Peace, The Sutphin's

It was our privilege and joy to know John. Kristin, Jake, Rachel, we love you and lift you up in this time of great sorrow. Chuck, Anne Marie, and kids
