Not sure what to say?

For many years I have known John as a platelet donor. He was always a great dedicated donor.

Linda and Sonia, we did not even know that John was sick , let alone that he passed. So very sorry; John , my husband was glad that he spent some time with your John some months ago.

It was a beautiful service - sorry we were unable to stay after. I will miss John. Our sincere condolences.

John F. Blackstone, PE, at the SPRWS water utility where he was a civil engineer.

I knew and very much enjoyed the wit and charm of John within and outside of Toastmasters. The club John was with at the Corps of Engineers years ago was a wonderful bit of commaraderie and nonsense at their noon hour meetings. From time to time I would run into John at serendipitous times, I thorougly enjoyed every encounter. Patrick O'Leary

We are so sorry Linda and Sonja...we want you and your family to know we are thinking of you. We'll miss John and cherish the memories of him taking the time to go out of his way to say hi or stop by for a quick visit to make sure things were ok. We enjoyed his stories about his family history and travels. Such a kind, caring person...very special indeed.

I worked at the Corps when John would come to my department and he was such a wonderful, uplifting individual. I'm sure he will be truly missed by all. I will miss that congenial smile, uplifting greeting and that hat! He was always so outgoing and so very pleasant.

John was a wonderful man. He taught me, by example, to be a better person and encouraged me to continue in Toastmasters to improve my commuication skills while working with St. Paul District Corps of Engineers. He will be missed!

I worked with John on the St. Paul LMSC. His intellect was most rewarding.
