Not sure what to say?

Nanny, you know how much John was loved by us. What a great friend. I know those in heaven rejoice with glee at his arrival there. The LORD will probably not know what to do with him!!! My heart goes out to you with your loss. Much love sent to you. Rose and Gene

To Nancy and the family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew John as a fellow driving instructor. There are many young drivers on the road who had the benefit of John's instruction.
I am also saddened by his passing, but have great memories of the stories we would share regarding our experiences with the students behind the wheel.

Nancy and family, we were so very sorry to hear of your loss. John was always so very kind to us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. Most sincerely, Jennifer, Gabi & Josh

Coach Bock, letting the ref know what he thought of that call.

Sad to hear of the passing of Coach Bock. He was my basketball coach when I was a sophomore at Muscatine (Iowa) High school in the early 1970s. He was a guy, even 40 plus years later, who made a lasting, indelible impression on me both as an athlete, and a person. He had a reputation for pushing his players hard, but he got the best out of us, and I don't think he ever had a losing season in the years he coached at MHS. It was nice having an opportunity to visit with him in 2007 when he...

May God be with you an confort you. It was a pleasue to work with John when he was in West Point. A deicated person

Kristen, Brendon, and I lost a friend and colleague this week. Mr. john Bock who worked for us in Omaha, NE lost his battle with Cancer. WW2 veteran, wonderful husband, father, and grandfather; tough old goat, and good, very good friend. He will be missed. Prayers go out to his family and God's grace on John. Dave Mullikin

My sympathy is extended to you, Nancy, and family. John is a Templeton,Iowa native as well as me. He was one grade ahead of me through grade and high school. My husband Jim (a Kuemper Catholic High School classmate to John) and I had a great catch up visit at the 50th classreunion. John sounded pleased with life's happenings. He will be remembered for his athletic interests and wholesomeness. Our prayers are with you at this time of loss.
