Not sure what to say?

Sean & Andrea: Some of my favorite memories of Jack were out on the golf course and the stories he would tell us. One in particular really surprised me, but has helped 'temper' my game ever since and make sure I don't lose my cool. Jack told those of us in the foursome about a time he lost his temper so bad after an errant shot, he slammed his club against the ground breaking it and then proceeded to pound the broken club into the ground yelling obscenities the whole time. He told us...

Sean,I was the young Captain of Flying Squad 3 and your Dad became my partner/mentor. The Squad became the busiest company in the city and Jack used this time to teach so much to so many young guys like me. I served my 40 years in various capacities but always remembered my Squad 3 days as the best of times. My condolences for your loss of a wonderful man. James Joyce C.F.D. retired.

Sean, I was saddened to hear the news of your dad's passing. He was such a wonderful, gentle, caring, and dear man! I really enjoyed getting to know him and being to help him while living at the Commons! he will be greatly missed by all!

Sean, it's never easy to say goodbye to someone you love, but now and then you'll feel your father's presence in a familiar, comforting way - and you'll feel as if he knows you're thinking of him. In time, those moments will bring you comfort, and you'll know that his love is never far away. I only knew Jack for a short time, but I know he was a kind and gentle man. God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

We came to know Jack at High Point in Naples. (but I heard about him from my folks when he came to MN for the summer and they all would get togeher) He worked on our building while we decorated for Christmas so that all the lights worked. What a gem of a man! He named our Friday Social in Naples - Club 29. He will forever be remembered by all.

May time provide you with the joy of all the wonderful memories he brought to his family and others. I'm sure he's in a bakery enjoying...

Sean: It is never easy to say good bye to loved one. I send my deepest sympathies to you on the lose of your Dad. I know your pain as we lost Richey this past November.

To Jack and his family. I met Jack when I moved to Naples to start my career in the golf industry. He will never know the affect his friendship and that of his family has played in making my life better. Some of the best days were running out to play as many holes as possible after the golf course had closed for the day before it would get dark. I was fortunate to be invited to Disney with Jack and his son Sean to play golf and what a fun trip that was. Jack was a proud man and extremely...
