Not sure what to say?

Always a great guy and let us be kids growing up. Never felt judged or uncomfortable during those teen years as John and I tore it up lol. Thank you for being kind.

He was like a second father during my teenage years. Always kind, accepting and just a great presence. Find memories growing up near the Hopko residence

Just a great guy. Always made me feel as comfortable in his home as I felt in my own. My formative years were helped guided by his kindness when me and John Jr were tearing things up lol. Great memories. The planet and universe were and are a better place for having him lived

Dear matt,
So sorry to hear about your wonderful father's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Be strong. God Bless

I miss you, Dad.

Today we say goodbye for the last time. From now on it will be see you later. Thank you for showing me how to be a great dad. I will love you forever and I just hope my thanksgiving turkey had nothing to do with it.

John Sr.
For more than 3/4 of my life, I admired you as a husband and a father. A true man's man just like my own Dad. Your smile would always light up the room and your ability to make others smile with you will always be remembered. I know that smile is a mile long now that you are with the love of your life. Rest in peace always.
Love,
Donna D

We will always remember you for your smile and your kindness.
