Not sure what to say?

I just want to say what a great man John was. I met him back when he was a Magistrate and he was awesome to work with. I have heard several deputies say over the years how much they missed him after he retired. I woke him up several times and it never bothered him and he was great to talk to. His common sense approach really helped me being young in law-enforcement. I appreciate everything he did for me and he will be missed.

Cindy, I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of John's passing. One of the more fun times I've had was when Gladdy & I came down and we enjoyed John playing and singing. Please call me if you need anything.

"Now lookee here" is only one of the many statements that the good ole boy/smart as a whip man, that I knew, made. I will long remember both.

Cindy, I can't begin to tell you how much John's friendship and community leadership have meant to me and the family. I'm grateful to have known him and for all the conversations we had about silly things and important things. He will definitely be missed.
