Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Bud. So, SO many memories. You were such a kind and decent man. Well, unless someone ticked you off, and then WATCH OUT! Fortunately I never got on your bad side, but I sure felt sorry for those that did--although, they usually deserved it.

I was so proud of you and your activities and projects. The fact you were teaching CANNING tickled me to no end. And the day you shared the USS Iowa with me, telling me of your experiences, is a day I shall never forget. ...

My husband and I always enjoyed your wonderful hospitality throughout the years when we visited your home. You made shrimp scampi for us and it was delicious. We also loved your annual Christmas cards. Everyone will miss you!!!

John, you were an inspiring man. I've enjoyed your stories through the years. You will be missed!

We enjoyed the wonderful time we had when we stayed with you while visiting my brother and family. We remember all the canned peaches, apricots, and jam that you sent home with us when we returned to Lake Benton, Minnesota.

John, going to miss our breakfast in the morning.

John, you lived your life fully and you encouraged my husband and I to continue our dreams. You are always going to be remembered.

John was a great guy! He will be missed.
