Not sure what to say?

It was always a pleasure flying with Joe. He was an Aeronaut Extraordinaire, a fine gentleman, and just a hell of a lot of fun to be around. R.I.P. Brother

Joe was a classmate in May of 1966 at Continental. He always brought humor and a 'fun' spirit wherever he was. Great guy.

Joe and I were in the same new-hire class at Continental in May, 1966. From the beginning,Joe left a pleasant impression long after he had departed a room. Some things just never change.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Joe Dark. He was a special guy! Always pleasant, always personable usually with a quip. I was proud and happy to have known him. Rest in peace Joe Dark.

Knew Joe well. He was exactly what the other comments say. Great sense of humor and outstanding pilot. If I remember correctly Joe flew a replica of a Japanese fighter in the movie Tora, Tora, Tora. Joe was also very active in the fight against Lorenzo. A good man and will be missed. GOD speed Joe.

Joe was my Buddy in the good old days in
Dallas! I'll always smile when I think of him and still use his favorite line,,,,"one more for the ditch"! Rest in Peace, old friend!!
