Judy and I became "re-acquainted" at A Time to Heal group last year. She inspired me and we shared quite a few laughs. I hope she got her wish and was able to enjoy "Judy's Garden". I will remember her fondly and hope that I can face any health problems in my future as bravely and as full of life as she did.
“On behalf of the staff of QLI we enjoyed her lively and positive attitude. She was a beautiful and sweet lady! May she rest peacefully...
“I learned of Judy's passing only tonight. She was engaging and smiled a lot. I have no words that can comfort the family but know that Cynthia and I fell silent when we talked of the family's loss. I will offer up a prayer in the morning. You have our condolences Tom. We will talk later my friend.
“Dear Tom and family, We are so sorry for your great loss. What a special person Judy was to have the energy and passion to just throw herself into all the causes she cared about. You were lucky to have her, but it makes the loss all the more painful. With our thoughts and prayers, Pam and Jim Sorrell
“Tom and Monaghan Family, my condolences for the loss of this wonderful lady.
“Tom - I am so sorry for your loss with Judy's death. I will keep her, and you in my thoughts and prayers. Your friendship and Judy'd made our time in Omaha a good memory. Judy was an extraordinary and caring person. God bless you all.
“Dear Thomas and Monaghan Family,
I remember your mother fondly. As teenagers she would allow a group of us to traipse in and out of your house with generosity and grace--an openess that we did not experience with many of our peers' parents. Years later I would learn what an important and politically-minded woman she was to our community. I am glad to have known her. Thinking of you all.
“What a little Giant, always ready with a smile on her face.I pray for the Monaghan Family.
I was saddened by the news. What a wonderful lady! Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.
