Not sure what to say?

October 17, 2009
I am so very sorry to learn of Dooley's death. I have known the family since we all lived in "Old" Sun City. Our families used to have hugh gatherings for fish fry, swamp cabbage and vegetables grown by his family. I know that Dooly brought so much to the
community and will be missed by so many
beyond his family. I am also saddened to read that he was preceded in death by his sister Jean. I did not know. My heart goes out to the entire...

Dooley's pioneer spirit will be greatly missed in South County. He was an inspiration to all of us.

Rest in peace Dooley..You have left behind an awesome family and a truely Awesome grandson David Michael the Hill family will have you in our thoughts and prayers

I am honored to be doing his Life Tribute for you. As you know, I knew "Dooley" for many years and have always thought of him very highly. He did a lot for the community and our people. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I grieve for my lost friend "Dooley." We co-founded the South County Roundtable [aka SouthShore Roundtable] many years ago. He was always devoted to improving the lives of the citizenry of his beloved Hillsborough County. I will miss him.
As we say in Ireland: Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis [May his faithful soul be on the right hand of God}

To the family of my friend Dooley,
This is truly a day of remembrance about a man who made a difference in my life. As a Founding Member of The SouthShore Roundtable he was a natural at making sure the group stayed the course & kept focus on our needs in the neighborhoods in South Hillsborough County. He & the starting group welcomed me as a newly elected president of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce with his firm handshake & his joyous smile. We reached many goals...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
