Karen was my very good friend during junior high. We had so much fun with Star Trek and other silliness. I will always remember her wonderful imagination and ready, ringing laughter.

It has been thirty years since I met Karen. I remember that I immediately recognized her intelligence and humor. Those continue to be the two words that, to me, describe her best. I will miss her, and will always treasure my memories of our time together. I am sending up prayers for, and much love to you Barbara and your family.
