“You are missed and loved by so many.
“Remembering my friend Kate this month. She is in my thoughts a lot.
“Cynthia Maniglia - Missing our walks together in the neighborhood this spring. Lots of good movies coming out that I would have loved to have seen with you.
“Kate and I were BFF at Holy Spirit. So many wonderful memories, especially Lincoln Place,OC beach and boardwalk. I'm not surprised Kate had such an illustrious career in Journalism. We affectionately called her "Scoop." My thoughts and prayers to the Megargee Family.
“A real individual and always a character that I had the pleasure of knowing and hanging with in high school and at Montclair State College. I am not surprised at all her accomplishments as she was always quite talented and determined. I am just sad that it is through her obituary that I am learning of them. Way too soon for her to go.. but heaven surely just got a little excitement... and I'm sure Dana greeted her. Rest in Peace, "Kate"
“My sympathies to the Megargee family. I worked with Kate at the Department of Aging and I have fond memories of our time working together. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
“I met Kate when we were both news hounds in Harrisburg, Pa. She never failed to make me laugh. God bless -
“Dear Michael and Megargee Family, Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers.
Mila and Thomas J. McDonough III
