Sorry to read of Ken's passing. My condolences to Matt and Tim. Ken was my cousin (his mother was my dad's sister). I tried to reconnect with Ken and that side of my family but was not successful.
I'm so sad this side of family has left my life. God Bless.

Rest in peace, Ken. One of the greatest men that I ever met. A true gentleman and ambassador for the sport of golf. His 1964 Open victory, and his incredible broadcasting will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful family man and I am proud to have been able to become his friend. There are few people who lived life so fully, and touched so many others lives. Everyone on Catalina Island still thinks of you Ken. Our hearts go out to all of his family and friends. I feel so honored to have...

I will miss his golf commentary, he had one of the best voices ever. My condolences to the Venturi family.

Our prayers and deepest sympathies to Kathleen and the entire Venturi family.
We've lost a sweet and dear gentleman that we will hold close in our memories. May God bless and give you comfort.

I remember when I joined the California
Golf Club in 1980...I met Ken Venturi whose best pals then were Ray Stoddard, Walt Gilliam, Bob Oligher, Miles Dooher, Art Schumacher, and Fred Benetti...Many have left us but there memory lives in our hearts...I had alot of fun with these men and they were best of friends...We had many golf games and lunches around the San Francisco and Bay Area...I know he is with all his friends now who have played through the California Golf Club...May he rest...
