Kenneth Lee Weaver Kenneth Lee Weaver, 58, of Amherst, died on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at his residence. Born on September 7, 1954, in Charlottesville, he was a son of the late Robert Sterling Weaver and Margaret Elizabeth Dyer, of Amherst. He was a United States Navy veteran and a prep cook at Westminster Canterbury in Charlottesville. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Robert M. Weaver of Clarksville, Tenneesee; Carolyn W. Miller, of Amherst, Charles Stewart Weaver of Lynchburg, David Lyn Weaver, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Pamela Jo Rigby of Charlottesville. A funeral service was held 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, with the Rev. Don Harvey officiating. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials take the form of contributions to Almost Home Pet Adoption Center, 29 Stagebridge Rd., Lovingston, VA 22949.
