Not sure what to say?

I knew Kevin from the neighborhood, growing up at 38th and kedzie. Kevin's life mirrows my own life. I also attended Kelly high at the same time Kevin did. I played a lot of ball back then, sometimes against Kevin. Tremendous pitcher! I was considered a very good hitter back then, but I was no match for Kevin.struck me out 4 straight times. I also ran numbers for the local bookie, played many times at Burroughs, drank in the same bar on 35th and California. He will always be in my thoughts...

Tommy - I was shocked to see Kevin had passed away. Over the years my family would try to follow what Kevin was doing. It was fun to see him make the big leagues and become an actor! I remember him pitching for the Foxes in Appleton, WI and your whole family would come and watch. Your family was so proud of him. He was a very nice guy and would do anything to help someone out. Please accept my late condolences. Hope all is well with you and your family.

I barely saw it, let alone hit it. He laughed and told me once "pitching batting practice is a great job for me, serving up...

Karen, I didn't know Kevin yet I want you and your family to know that we are thinking of you. Don and Nancy Shepard

So sorry to hear about Kevin!! We went to HS together! Hope he finds a ball field in heaven!

My family was always so proud to watch a southside boy pitch for the sout'siders. Prayers to your family from ours.

I HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF PLAYING SOFTBALL WITH YOU AT KELLY PARK. YOU WERE ALWAYS AT YOUR BEST. REST IN PEACE.

Rest in peace Kevin. I have fond memories playing fast pitching off the wall at Burroughs playground with you while subbing for Cuzlik and Tomaso. I also remember Karen and her girlfriends singing "My Boyfriend's Back".
