Kitt Pohorelesky Aguilar

Guest Book

Many years ago, I was a student of Ms. Mayo's English class. She was so incredibly inspiring and often shared her poetry with me. She touched my life significantly. I am very sad to hear of her passing. Her words and life made our lives so blessed.

I was just a little girl when you would come visit your relatives but it was a big deal when you did. It seemed like the whole street knew it - OH! Sissi is there! The reception of you just still stands out and I was so very young. I can see why! May God bless your family with many wonderful memories. Granny Graefe was a special lady to me and I am sure you are with her now. Respectfully,

Kitt and I met 36 years ago when she lived in Florida and we became life-long friends. We were both teachers, and loved many of the same things. She was a wonderful, smart, loyal, loving and sharing person, and she made the world a better place. I will miss her every day as long as I live and think of her every time I check my email and miss finding all the great stuff she sent me almost every day.
Kitt, you left this world too soon, but love for you lives on.

Oh my dear friend ... I cannot believe that you are gone from me, from all of us. We met when we were only 5 or 6 years old, and we have maintained that friendship through many years and miles, more than 55 years of love, letters, and confidences. You will never be gone from me for you have always been in my heart and you will continue to be there in my thoughts and prayers.
Love always, BFF, Eva (Gramberg) Maddox

Kitt was a very special friend to my nephew, Bryan Johnson. I met Kitt many years ago when I went to Texas with Bryan.
