Betty and family:

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We can't tell you how wonderful Dr. Gibas was to our grandmother, Nancy Duncan Long. Because of Dr. Gibas, she lived to be 91 years old. He was surely a blessing to her. Rest in Peace Dr. Gibas.

Dear Gibas Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Gibas was such a fine man and my father and I always enjoyed seeing him as he often visited our family business, Reed Lumber Co. in Christiansburg. He was one of the most interesting, intelligent and kind person I have ever met.

Susan and family, I am sad to learn of Dr. Gibas' passing. I will always remember seeing him walking the halls of RCH and talking with him about "almost" being neighbors in Newbern as we pondered Dr. Lilly's house. Many blessings to you; praying for God's arms to wrap around you for comfort.
