For Shirley

I think about you all the time , I wish you were still here .

I was very lucky to have known Shirley; she was just a wonderful person. I met her through my mother Audrey (nee Lindstrom) Harris, who grew up next door to the Curl family. Betty and Shirley were her childhood friends and she always mentioned how kind and generous the Curl family was to her

I took care of shirley from last February until
October of 2012 , Had many fun times with Shirley ,I will always rememeber sitting ,and watching the birds ,and talking over old times . I will miss you Shirley ......................You taught me to be strong no matter what comes my way ............

My family lived next door to Miss Curl for 30 years.I cut her lawn for her when i was a teenager.I remember her dog Schnitzel poking his little nose through the fence to see me.She was a very nice lady and will be missed.

A great teacher...I enjoyed her very much and learned alot from her. God speed to you Miss Curl! You positively touched alot of young lives in your day...me being one of them.
Sincerely,
Kathie Brown Grazis

Miss Curl was my teacher at Farragut in the late forties. She was a very kind and caring woman. How wonderful to know she lived a good, long life.

My sympathy in the passing of Miss Curl. A wonderful teacher from Farragut that I had the privilege of knowing. I will miss our quick visits at the Jewel. Nikki

Shirley was a fun loving person and was a delight as a friend. A very independent person. I certainly enjoyed her sense of humor.
