Not sure what to say?

A man who loved what he did and was loved for how he did it. Many a person benefited from being exposed to Mr. Wilkes' easy demeanor and wisdom. He will be missed, but there is a lot of him spread through many students he taught and mentored. Mech Ag '86

Stella, I am so sorry about Lambert. I cannot say enough about how much the family loves him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. My heart is heavy for his passing but I know that he is in the hands of the Lord. May the Lord give you all peace and comfort.

Dear Stella: I saw Laura Harris today and she told me the news. I am very sorry to hear this. I send you my condolences. You are in our thoughts.

Fred & I are saddened to learn about Lambert's passing. We enjoyed being his neighbor & friend. He was a religious inspiration to our family when we attended Grace Bible Church. May the Lord bless you & your family during this difficult time! With our love and caring thoughts

Julia and David I pray The Holy Spirit will bring you comfort as the days pass without your Father. God Bless. Phyllis & Robert Davis

Our thoughts and prayers are with Julia and David, Angela and Scott and the entire Wilkes family. May you be enriched in knowing the impact that your father and grandfather made on all of us! May the Lord Bless you and keep you and give you peace now and in the future.

Our loss, heaven's gain. Lambert's principled, godly leadership has meant so much here in College Station.

I am so sorry for your loss....I recall meeting the Wilkes when I started attending Grace in the 1980's. May your hearts be filled with peace...

He was one of the most inspirational instructors I had at A&M! A super fine man and always ready to be of service to all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
