Not sure what to say?

Lem was a kind and gentle soul . I hiked and cross country skied with him as a member of AYH. He was also a wonderful Gardner. I am sure we will all see Lem again in heaven.

Lemuel;- A gentle man with integrity, sensitivity and observation intelligence,-as deep in detail as his mothers etchings. I so enjoyed the holiday encounters with Lemuel at his sister's home (my neighbor, Laura Manchester Smith) and cherrish the letter he sent to me after on such evening. I was flattered when he compared my detailed drawings to his mothers. So very kind;- never to be forgotten.....the lost breed, of which this world more of.

I will always remember Lem for his kindness and for being a true gentleman. He always seemed happy to greet people at church, and was gracious to all. with sympathy and love to his family and friends, Judy Bergeson

I met Lem through his tireless efforts with the AYH and enjoyed his xcntry trips to White River junction in Vermont. Very sorry this gentle soul he is gone. Phyllis

I remember Lemuel and his mother as a neighbor on Franklin St. near the Alexanders and the Peneltons that was many years ago. My son worked for ABB he may have met him I'm sure his family and many friends will miss him

I have fond memories of Lem, as I grew up as a young boy living right next door on Bradford Drive in Windsor. He was extremely compassionate and was truly a role model as to how to live your life. It was an honor to know Lem. May you rest in peace.

Lem was a great leader of AYH. I went on a lot of his biking, kayaking and xcountry ski trips which were so much fun. He will be missed.

My Cousin Lemuel was a unique and very interesting person. He was loving and friendly yet quiet and unassuming. I enjoyed the conversations we had about family history and our family tree. I extend and share the condolences of the Otis Earl Waite Family with all who loved cared about our Cousin, Lemuel A.W. Manchester.

In Loving Memory

Lem was a gentle soul. He brought love, peace, and joy to my cousin, Nancy, who companioned him in sickness and in health. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you on Sunday during lthe service.
