Not sure what to say?

To My Dear Wife; God made a beautiful women when he made you and I was the luckiest man on earth when he brought us together! You were a wonderful loving wife and I will miss you everyday until I see you again. Always and forever, your loving husband; Buck

My Dearest Mom; For as long as I can remember you have been there for me. When I was little I knew I could always count on you. Even when there were times when I was younger and you had to work because you were a single mom, we always did our best, together! You always had a way of making me feel safe and well off, even when we didn't have much. When you married dad, Buck, we had a great life! I remember our Sunday drives. They were fun family adventures, just like our camping trips,...

I have many beautiful memories of Leona Davis, who was my aunt. I loved her dearly. I didn't see her that much when I was young, and less as I grew into my teens, as she had moved away. But we all got to see her at Christmas and some other holidays. After I was married Aunt Leona and Buck spent a few days with my husband and myself because of a family reunion they had come in for. I really enjoyed there company and the love they showed us, and we had fun. Another time is when Shirley and...

My Aunt Lee was very kind and generous, personable and a talented artist. She enjoyed traveling and went on numerous family excursions. I remember her hospitality when Gerry and I visited her after we were married in 1955. They took us dancing where the big bands played and we could dance all night. I don't remember the name of the band, but I think the dance hall was “Elitch's Garden” (?). They also took us to a building with a visitors deck that had a beautiful view of the country...

I knew Lee in Colorado, when I was a young girl. Though I haven't seen her for years, we have kept in touch and it has always been so nice to talk to her and hear about her life. Lee was always so sweet and a lot of fun to be with. She was a wonderful aunt, (Married, at that time, to my uncle Dutch) but really she was like a good friend to me. I'll never forget her.
Sincerely, Marilyn Smith

Where do I start when it comes to talking about my Aunt Leona. I remember her as being pretty, always smiling and happy, unless Grandma Trenary said something to her to make her not smile !
She was a part of my life for a whole school year when I was little. Her and Grandma Trenary took care of me during the week while my Mother and Father( Lawrence and Ida) worked and my sisters and brother( Joyce,Edith,Velma and Bob) went to school. I remember her and Grandma made a couple dresses...

Where do I begin to say the right words about Aunt Lee. My memories are few but I can say she was the sweetest Aunt she could be. My Dad, Lawrence, was her oldest Brother . I always saw her as a happy person, always with a smile. I remember her and Grandma Trenary making me a few dresses, which made me happy. I spent a whole school year with her one year when my Mom and Dad ( Lawrence and Ida Trenary) had to work and my sisters and brother were in school. I spent many days away from my...

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. I was blessed to get to know her a couple years ago, I always looked forward to my visits up to her and Buck's home to help care for them. It was my pleasure to get to know them. She was a lovely lady, always smiling. Bless you and your family. She is missed...

Lee was a lovely woman who was a member at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Oxnard, and after she and Buck moved I sent her the church newsletter for years. We exchanged notes after that, sharing memories of others who were members when she lived here. Lillian Elswick
