Not sure what to say?

Rose Marie and family -- LeRoy took me under his mentorship when I was a 17 year old freshman at Abilene Christian in 1950 and I was privileged to be his room-mate for a semester. That semester had a profound influence on the direction of my life. Know that someone from sixty years ago is thinking of you as if it were yesterday, and sending strength and prayers your way from the beach in Malibu. __ __ Jim Wilburn

Dear Carver family,

I will forever remember Leroy's big smile, outstretched hand and welcoming spirit...a true inspiration to so many. Sending peace & love to each of you, Martha Aston Simon

Dear Carver family, I have nothing but the most pleasant memories of Leroy. He was truly a great man, a giant in the world of influencing children for the love of the Lord, and I will always be in his and Rose Marie debt for all of the wonderful times they both brought into the lives of so many people in Abilene Texas. I only wish I could be more like him. Mike Aston.

Thinking of all of you right now and praying God's love and peace to wrap you up like a warm blanket. Leroy was a beautiful man with such a loving spirit. I know the angels are celebrating and singing with him in heaven right now!! Sending love and hugs to all of you. Terri Jackson-Kelley

USA has lost another member of the "Greatest Generation".

Dearest Rose Marie and family: One of the sweetest smiles in the world has dimmed. Yours has always been a special family to me. I will always cherish memories of Leroy whether preaching, singing or just being kind nad caring. Love, Susan and Greg Allred

Karen and Family~
I can't begin to understand your grief and sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Love, Beth

Dear Rose Marie, Karen and Gary,
How lucky you are to have had such a wonderful man in your lives! He will truly be missed! Rod and I have a favorite saying at our house and we use it whenever we can, "Zip up Leroy!" I hope you remember that story! May God be with you. Rod and Jean Downing
