Leslie Ann (Norman) Plante, aged 47, of Jacksonville, AR, passed away peacefully at her home on July 25, 2025, with her family by her bedside. She was born in Searcy, AR, on September 16, 1977, to Elizabeth (Eads) and Earnest Norman. Leslie was a beloved mother, sister, and friend.
Leslie attended Des Arc Schools, graduating with the class of 1995. She found joy in simple pleasures, often settling down with a good book or engaging in game time with her loved ones. Leslie's love for games was not limited to the board; she also enjoyed the game of life, always ready to face challenges with courage and grace.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Plante, Leslie's legacy lives on in her cherished family. She is survived by her son, Jamie Lynn Norman (Madison) of Crossroads, AR, and her daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Norman of Jacksonville, AR. She was a proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren, Layla Lynn Norman and Lily Norman. Her radiant spirit lives on in them and will continue to inspire their lives in her absence.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Leslie is survived by her loving parents, Elizabeth (Eads) and Earnest Norman of Des Arc, and her two caring sisters, Wendy Sue Hanner husband Heath and Jennifer Michelle Holland and husband Bobby. Her family was her pillar of strength, a source of unconditional love, and they always held a special place in her heart.
Leslie was a beacon of warmth and joy to those around her. Her laughter, generous spirit, and unwavering courage will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the enduring strength of family bonds.
At this time, there is no service planned. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this challenging time. They kindly request that you honor Leslie's memory by cherishing your loved ones, as she did hers, and by finding joy in the small moments, just as Leslie did every day.
The family suggests you spend a quiet evening lost in a good book or playing a game with a loved one, just as Leslie would have wanted. Her life was a beautiful journey, and her memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
