Our family enjoyed the entire Goodwin family! As a child born and raised in Liberal, Ks. Both Jody and Les were wonderfull giving people, and were always involved in the community in a positive way! I am thankfull and blessed to have had known and spent much time with Les Goodwin and Family,and The Dixon Family send our love and prayers to Steve and Phil and their Families! Beautifull Service! Steve & Phil:We have fond memories of the pleasant times we enjoyed with your parents and you when we were neighbors in Liberal, KS in the 1960's. Those were good years. I am saddened to learn of Les's passing.
Les was a good friend, a fine gentleman, and a man of integrity.
I well remember, and will not forget, the days we worked together at Anadarko in Fort Worth and in Houston, and our uprooting, along with the rest of the company, when Anadarko relocated its headquarters from Fort Worth to Houston.
I know that Steve and Phil and all of his extended family will miss him, as I will.
May he rest in peace.

Les was a great mentor! He and Bob Allison encouraged me to join Anadarko (APC) in 1973, when APC moved down from Ft. Worth to Houston.



Les taught me how to market oil and gas, as well as the state and federal regulations pertaining therto. He along with Joe Kepke, an attorney with Anadako, patiently taught me energy and contract law.

He was a perfectionist that mandated 100% accuracy at all times- in all documents, letters, computations, etc.; hence, when such...
