“SO sorry to hear about Lonnie. We are cousins that have been too out of touch for far too long. His mother and my mother were sisters. One of my memories of Lonnie was of a time he came home on leave and there was a big family gathering in Exeter. He was so impressive in his uniform. It was obvious that his parents were proud of him. I am sure these last few years have been difficult for your family. He was a man to be proud of. He lived his life well and will be missed.
“Lonnie was a classmate. He was quite but always had your back. We will miss him. Marcia Beecher class of 64
“My thoughts and prayers are with the Starr family. Lonnie and I worked in the same Lab at Offutt AFB NE. So very sorry to hear of his passing.
“Our prayers go out to you and your family during this time of great loss and sadness. May the good times of being with you live on in our memories.
“Thanks for your Military Service to Our Country.
