With deepest sympathy to the Robins family. Lora was a wonderful person to me. I use to call her every week just to say Hi and to see how she was doing. We talked about many things, from going to get ice cream, to a dance in the park. I became ill in late August, there for I did not call for a few weeks. As a member of the A.H. Robins domestic & International sales and marketing teams for more than 30 years, attendance at many company functions was standard. Perhaps the most memorable of these functions was the invitation to training classes for dinner at "Clearview". All of the 40 plus trainees of our class of 1958 were greeted individually by Mrs. Robins, and her comment was "these are my boys". What a beautifully written obituary to express about a wonderful woman from such humble beginnings and with her determination, strength and willingness to see the light in life with the underprivileged, as well as the privileged, she along side her husband made a business that was a major player in the pharmaceutical world.
