Not sure what to say?

Hola, Diego. Sorry to read about your Mom and your Dad, both in the same year. And Howard, which I didn't know about. Ouch.

Marsha and Norman-
I was so sorry to read about your mom, and to find I had somehow missed your dad's earlier passing.
I never met your parents, but visited with your mom when she was so sweet to call me after receiving a card I had sent to them when Howard passed away.
Their generous contributions to Waco ISD, including the Howard Hoppenstein Chess Club at WHS, were indicative of their loving and giving spirit that blessed so many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

A true gracious lady.

How very sad I felt to see Mrs. Hoppenstein's picture in the paper this morning. She spent several years as a volunteer in my classroom at Mountainview Elementary. She was wonderful! All the children wanted to go with her. I always told her she was my idea of a gracious lady. I feel so honored to have known her and I will always treasure my memories of her. Linda Poormon
