Not sure what to say?

Dad, you will always be with us in our hearts. You and mom were such a great team but we will try hard to fill your shoes and be there for her. She will miss you as we do but we are joyful knowing that you have earned your reward, heaven. How happy you must be meeting the BIG GUY you worked so hard for and making it seem effortless because of your devotion and strong faith. Love you always, Dee

I wish I had gotten to spend more time with my Uncle Louie.

Sadly, I don't have a lot of memories of him. What I remember most was going to the old bookstore in Worcester and he would give me and my sisters books to read.

I pray that everyone in the family is doing all right, especially Auntie Bunny, his brother and sisters, and all of my cousins who knew him as dad or Pepere.

P'pere, I love you so much and miss you so much it hurts. I cry almost every night for you and Nonna. You were such an amazing man and grandfather. You were so loved and I know my mother misses you terribly, your business partner, daughter and friend. She loves you and Bouchers just is not the same without you. I LOVE YOU! xoxo Your devoted granddaughter, Jonelle

THIS WAS MY EULOGY TO MY P'PERE

thanks Dad!
We'll miss you.

Louie, Bunny & family on Lake Ave

Here is the eulogy I shared at Louie's funeral.

On Thanksgiving 2006, Terry and I went to visit Louie in the hospital near Springfield. The nurses told us that he had good days and bad days, so he might not recognize us. On his good days, he would greet everyone and shake their hands. Then he would go to the nurse's station and start straightening things up. "We figure either he thinks he's running for public office, or he owns the place!"

I started our visit...

Dad, It's proof how much of a caring person you were by the numbers of people that attended the wake and the funeral. You literally went out of your way to help so many without ever thinking of what's in it for you. The common phrase among all those I talked with was: "Your Dad was such a nice man, I will never forget him". I found this saying once in a newspaper and liked it so much and now I realize this statement best described you Dad : " I shall pass this way but once,so...

Joe, I am sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts

What a wonderful legacy he leaves behind. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
