I moved into Executive House in 1990. Lucy was my neighbor and friend. Lucy was a very nice but private person which I respect. She was very supportive of me when I was on the Board of Directors for 21 years and at the years being President. She retired from NY Telephone (now Verizon). Lucia was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We shared lots of laughs, car rides to go on errands or a bite to eat. We spoke daily on the phone, sometimes multiple times per day and would make each other laugh. When I would say "See you later alligator" she would respond with "After awhile crocodile." She was very proud of her Italian heritage and her home city of Amsterdam, NY. She was a fixture of Executive House Apartments, having lived here 48 years and was loved throughout the building. I...
