I enjoyed the family pictures, especially the one of the children of Lyla gathered around the statue of the Virgin Mary. May Jesus, the Christ's face shine upon you and give you His peace, love, and understanding in this difficult time.

Dear Jack and family,
My sympathy & prayers to you and yours at this time of sorrow. Praying that the wonderful memories you have made will sustain you in the weeks and months ahead. God bless you, your classmate,

Brian and Family,

Your mother was a great woman and I am glad I had the opportunity to know her. She raised 5 great kids and her legacy will continue through each of you! I always enjoyed going to the Gabler house growing up because it was always full of good cheer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Jack and family,
Lyla was our dear friend and we have known her since our children were small....Lyla's beauty was not just in her appearance....she had a quiet demeanor,a humble heart and a sweet spirit and I will never forget her. She impressed me in so many ways and I am grateful for the many fond memories I have of her.
Ron and I send our heartfelt sympathy and love to all of the Gabler family.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. We will keep you & your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Jack, I extend my condolences during this time of deep sorrow and loss of Lyla, your dear life-mate and the mother of your children. You and Lyla were blessed with many wonderful years together and a family that bears witness to your special marriage and faithfulness to one another. May God sustain you, your children, and grandchildren through the present grief and sorrow. And may you find God's eternal embrace sufficient for the months and years to come. Sincerely in Christ, Dave Brand,...

Jack, we were saddened to hear from Florida classmate, Pat Cramer, that your precious Lyla has gone to heaven. She was always such a beautiful lady and I'm sure your love and prayers always surrounded her, even now. What a great family the two of you grew. We have fond memories of the both of you from dear ole "NWHS". Remember all the promises of God, especially those in the 14th Chapter of the Gospel of John. Let's all live so that we can one day be together in heaven.
