Not sure what to say?

Dale, Debbie, Drew and family.
As your cousin I have many fond memories of our youth and visiting your house for the weekend. As with my mother, your dad led a wonderful life full of great accomplishments, and raising independent loving kids. I offer you my condolences and prayers to help you through this sad time. God Bless you all.

On behalf of the Residents and staff at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis, we express our sympathies to Lyle's family. He was a great Resident and friend to many and will be greatly missed. He is now reunited with his beloved Dorothy in the Kingdom.
Jim Leith, Chaplain

Love you Grandpa.

Our sincere condolences to all of the Herrmann family on the passing of your father. Lyle was a great man and a hero to our country.

I always loved to come to Mpls and visit Aunt Margaret and Uncle Frank and all the kids. I always thought that Lyle was so good looking since I was 7 years younger and looked up to him. I remember him in uniform and how handsome he was. I am so sorry that I wasn't able to visit him and the rest of the Herrmann family. I am sure God has a special place for Lyle in Heaven. Cousin Joan Herrmann Bloom, Hayward, CA

I wish i could have known Lyle more. Living on the west coast it is hard to see my Minnesota relatives as often as i would like to. I sat with Lyle for about 2 hours asking him family genealogy questions. What a delightful cousin. We will all miss him very much.
