Margaret Baxter ran a tight ship
She liked the hospital to be clean and tidy, and the nurses to look professional. She hired me to my supervisory role in August of 1968. We were called administrative coordinators. I had no supervisory experience but had been working in ICU at the Holy. She told us that it was our responsibility to make sure all the staff looked professional. Marg was a dedicated nurse and will be remembered by many friends.
Her energy and enthusiasm for life will be greatly missed.

Bill was so saddened to lose his dear friend Marg. She and Bill were colleagues at R.U.H. in the '70's and '80's, she head of nursing, and he head of pathology. He always admired her, and appreciated her so much in a professional capacity as well as a friend and colleague. She was so thoughtful and kind to me when I was ill briefly, and always wonderful to visit at U.A.H. alumni dinners. She leaves a big hole in my life and many others. Marg was an extraordinary woman - she gave a lot to this world and will be dearly missed.

I never knew how accomplished Ms. Baxter was. I enjoyed the time I spent with her and will miss her sharp wit.
