“Ellen and all,
I just heard of your loss. I am so very sorry. Your mother was such a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of her from my youth, both in Crewe and in Vinton. I know she will be greatly missed.
“Dear Ellen and Family,
Your mother truly was very special. My memories of her were always a lady working hard to please everyone. She always had a smile and a soft word. I know how much you all miss her and my love and thoughts are with all of you. A special person has passed but your memories will always keep her with you. All my love to all of you. What a lovely lady.
“Terry, Marsha, Ellen, Jan and Robbie:
I know this has been a terribly difficult time for you all, but especially for Jan. As I read through the many messages of comfort and sympathy, one struck me in particular -- "she was 'mom' to many". How true! She was all that could be expected of a good mother and more: loving, sweet, gracious, faithful, kind, generous, warm. Indeed a special lady, and my Mom's best friend.
Love to all of you, Donnie
“I will always have the fondest memories of your mom/grandmother. I know she will be deeply missed by all who loved her and that is the best legacy anyone can have..
“I have never known a more generous, sweet and loving Chritian woman and she affected so many peoples lives, that they can't be counted. My heart aches for the entire family as I know what a precious, caring Mother she was. May God be with each of you as you grieve the lost of such a wonderful person. Thank you Monte, for all you did. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the funeral services, but I mourn at home, all the same.
“Jan~ We are so sorry to hear about this and we hope you know you are in our thoughts and prayers . We love you deeply~~~ Lora, Diana, Sarah and the 4 legged guy~
“I have many fond childhood memories! She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. I spent quite a few days in her pool and even had sleep-overs with her. Precious memories!
“To the family. She was the sweetest, most kind person I have ever known. That sweet, gentle voice that taught me so much about how to live and most importantly how to love unconditionally will never be forgotten. She will be missed but will always be in our hearts.
