Not sure what to say?

My name is Bill Collins. My sister, Deborah Collins Loflin and I both now live in Cincinnati, Ohio. My sympathy and support goes out to Dr. Aderholdt's family. He was such a wonderful pediatrician: gentle, friendly, supportive, with a special and rare combination of skills in dealing with the needs of both children and their parents. He was a medical professional and man of unique skills, kindness and empathy.

"Mark Aderholdt is perhaps best remembered for opening the door to camp and sports for thousands of High Point youngsters over the years. Often, his free pre-season physical examinations were the only physicals they received during their teen-age years."
I was one of those teens who received a free physical in order to go to camp. Dr. Aderholdt was such a kind and compassionate man. So sorry to hear of him passing. My love and prayers to his family.

On behalf of the Guilford County Department of Public Health, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Aderholdt family for the time your father was our Pediatrician. For decades, Dr. Aderholdt provided care to the babies and children in our clinics and the wonderful stories shared by our families are too numerous to count. Dr. Aderhold was our first full time pediatrician, and he set the stage for child health care for the next generations. We honored him at our 100th...
