“To the family of Mark Rettig I extend my sincere condolences. Mark was a friend. I worked closely with Mark when I was involved in the UA Local 342 Training program. As Coordinator of that program I came to rely on Mark as an instructor and could always depend on his expert handling of welding class assignments. He was talented with knowledge and ability in our trade. As a fellow brother member of UA Local 342 Mark will be sorely missed. I am proud to have known Mark for many years. May God...
“To Mark's family. I spent a lot of time with Mark in the 80's and was his roommate for a couple years. He was the steady and solid type of guy that you could always rely on. He tried to have a tough exterior but everyone who really knew him could see through to his kind interior. He left us way too soon.
“I do believe my mother had a Spanish class with Mark at Chabot College. I apologize if I have the wrong Mark Rettig. If he is one and the same, my mother thought the world of him.
In either case, I am sorry for your loss.
“To Mark Rettig's family. I am sorry for your lose. I grew up with Mark and spend alot of time with him in my high school years. With Mark around I knew he would always look out for me and take care of me if I needed it. He was a true friend. I will always remember the Rolling Stones Concert. To Paul, I am so sorry for your lose of your brother. My thoughts are with your family. Jessica Tedeschi
