Not sure what to say?

condolences to the family. I waited too long to try and contact her. She was once my co-worker. Sarah Barber

I am so saddened to read of Martha's passing. I worked with her many years ago at Corrections and later at the Comptroller's Office for several years. She was a dear, sweet (& funny) lady. I know Martha will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

To the Bowden family--my condolences are with you during this difficult time. I never had the opportunitu to meet your loved one, but as a friend and former co-worker of Susan, I felt her pain during her mom's illness and subsequent passing. Having been through this myself, my advise is to hold steadfast to your fond memories of your loved one and if necessary, in your private, quiet momemts, make sure to talk to her, letting her know how you are doing--she is listening from her new home. ...

To the family of Martha Bowden, we will miss her on wednesday mornings. She bowled with us for over 15 years and we know she will find a new league in her heavenly home. Our hearts are with each one of you. Fifty Plus Seniors bowling league..Shirley Evelan, Secertary.

I WAS SO SADDENED TO HEAR OF MARTHA'S PASSING. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED IN OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS AT HERITAGE. SHE WAS A VERY SWEET AND WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN LADY WHO I AM GLAD I GOT TO KNOW AT HERITAGE BAPTIST CHURCH. SHE WILL BE MISSED BUT KNOW SHE IS IN HEAVEN WITH HER LORD AND SAVIOR.

Martha and I have enjoyed many travels together. I was blessed when Martha came into my life. Just saying 'I will miss her' doesn't even come close.

Dear family, I worked with Martha for several years at the State Comptroller's Office. I haven't seen her much since her retirment, just a few times, but I thought a lot of her, she was such a sweet person. I am sorry for your loss and I know you will miss her. She had a way to make everyone around her smile. My prayers are with your family.

Tim, Terry, Donna, Sharon, Susan, I have so many fond memories of your mother (and Daddy) from Southside Bapt. and Heritage Bapt. as well as just growing up together. I am so sorry for your loss! Mama sends her love as well. She also said something that I really liked. She said, now Martha and Alton are both lying in the arms of Jesus, together again, no more sorrows or pain. Just know that we are thinking of you all through the next few days as you deal with all that is to come. Love...
