Not sure what to say?

will always have fond memories of my visit when I was much younger and how loving and wonderful Aunt Mary Ellen and Uncle David was to me during my trip! God bless her and may she rest in peace. Earle Layng

My condolences to the whole family from the Carolina Haithcock side of the family. Aunt Mary Ellen was our adopted Southern Belle.

We are sorry for your loss. Aunt Mary Ellen was a beautiful lady inside and out! Sending you love from Ga.

One of my Mother's last wishes was to come to Oregon to be with "the girls". For us she was a powerful example of what it is to be a strong woman. She was a loving and doting grandmother to my children, Emily and Lilah. They brought her much joy. She was an extraordinary cook and baker and from her I learned my craft... even if it meant having to make dinner for "the boys". We hope she's communing with the angels in heaven. She coped with much pain but she got the last...

A big thank you for years of devotion to the Arts. It's people like Mary that helped the community in many ways. I extend my sorrows to your family and your very talented son, John, who I have known for years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our good friends John and Jenna in this difficult time. We are very sorry for your loss.

We knew Mary Ellen as the beautiful mother to our very dear friend , her wonderful son, John. We were always deeply touched by her remarkable grace, strong courageous spirit and her fun sense of humor ....accompanied by her twinkling eyes , radiant smile and laughter. Thank you Mary Ellen for your generosity of spirit and true inspiration! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, John and your family in this time of transition. Sending much love and light now and always! Kerri and Scott
