Not sure what to say?

Mary and I taught together as First Grade Teachers for many years at Tuttle Community School in Minneapolis. When she retired she returned to be a tutor to my class. The children loved her and looked forward to her working with them. She was a wonderful friend and an excellent teacher. She will be missed but we know she is in a better place. Blessings on you dear friend. Your friend, Lynn Crowley

We love you and want you to know you're in our prayers

I had Miss Bednorz as my first grade teacher in 1965 at Lowry Elementary schoolin N.E.Minneapolis. She has always been the most memorable teacher in my entire educational career. I loved her for how much she genuinely cared for children. She was such a huge contribution to young children...and was one of the driving forces that lead me into the field of Early Childhood Education. I'm certain God welcomed her with open arms!

mary is remembered as a fun-loving accepting person---she was a generous loyal friend---carole ahrndt thorburn

Miss Bednorz was my first grade teacher in the late 50's in NE Minneapolis. It lasted over half a century. For many years, these two teachers had a standing date to explore all the educational nooks and crannies of the State Fair and they would just soldier on sun-up to sundown, until they were...

I lived next door to Mary Ann in Delano, we were friends when we were both young girls and all through high school often walking together to school I remember her as a cheerful and very nice person. Blessed be her memory. Elaine (Kittock) Salonek
