Mom's Rose -1960

My Mother Mary Lou has always loved flowers and birds. She had me set her Internet home page to a "rose" picture and the attached photo is one she took back in early 1960.
She would want to be surrounded with flowers and her friends at her memorial. Please show your love for her by sending flowers one last time.
Mom - I know you are happy to be back in Daddy's arms...but You will be missed by many and our love for You will never die.

Aunt Mary Lou- Even though you lived so far from me, and we only saw each other a handful of times the last several years, my heart still hurts knowing you are not there. My consolation is that I have hope that one day I will see you again in Heaven. My prayers are with all your family... Love to you ... Davy Doodles.. Jer 29:11

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I have great memories of hanging out with Joda at the house and spending time with Mary Lou and all the family. May all your memories comfort you.

My Aunt Marylou……

I have a life time of memories with you…..from my youngest moments going to your house most every Friday night, playing with my cousins, occasionally spending the night or having dinner. You were always a great cook…..but I could have done without the anchovies on your homemade pizzas! Then decades later attending your 80th birthday party, it was a celebration! I will miss you my Aunt Marylou.

All my love.

Ahh, Aunt Mary Lou. Gone from this earth, but in heaven with Christ. And Marvin. And Mammy. And Pappy. And Betty Lee and Virginia Lee and Little Larry. And my Daddy. And so many others who have gone on before. Your life was as distinctive as your wonderful laugh. What great childhood memories I have coming to your house every Friday night, Daddy and Uncle Marvin playing cribbage, watching you sew, sometimes eating supper with that big lively family, spending the night at 67 Nancy Drive. ...

To the Johnson Families:
I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mother & grandmother. I worked with Mary Lou at Western Union in Berkeley for many years. I have always remembered Mary Lou fondly through the years. She gave me the BEST Seafood Jambalaya recipe, ever. My Prayers to the family.
