It has been a privilege to help care for Mary Ellen. There were many times she joyfully smiled to the melodies which we played for her or laughed at the 'right places' while watching Mayberry. She had a sweet nature. I wish I could have known her years ago; but am glad to have met this loving family.

May the sweet winds of heaven blow gently upon your face. My thoughts and prayers are with B and family. She was a wonderful inspiration to many. I shall never forget her warmth and kindness.

Dear Family, May Peace be with you! Mary Ellen was an inspiration! I met her while working at the Raft Community Crisis Center in the early 80's. She was a dedicated volunteer, member of several boards, and went beyond the standard two hours a week by consistently volunteering regular slots and on call. Plus she acquired numerous donations of goods, services, and monetary for the hotline and then homeless shelter. She did all this plus volunteering tutoring at several schools that I worked...
