Resident of El Dorado Hills
Mary Helen Millsap 83, passed away at her home on Friday, October 3, 2014 in El Dorado Hills, CA. Born and raised in Newton, Iowa, she lived in Sunnyvale, CA for 54 years, before moving to El Dorado Hills. A beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Keith Millsap of 48 years. Mary is survived by daughters and husbands Chris and Art Garcia, Kathy and Billy Fetterman, grandchildren and spouses, Kim and Mike Bailey, Greg and Majken Garcia, great grandchildren Brooke Marie Bailey and Alexis Grace Garcia.
Mary will be remembered by her family and friends as one of the most giving, compassionate, caring people around. Her greatest joy was her family and friends.
She was an amazing cook, loved to bake and worked in Food Service in the Sunnyvale School District for 20 years, and was a member of the Eastern Star. She had a green thumb and loved her flowers and garden.
Funeral and Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at 11am at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice in Mary's name would be appreciated.

Hello. My name is Diane (Doran) Blum, and Mary was a good friend of my mom, Dee, for many years. I was sorry to hear of her passing; I saw her a little over 5 years ago when she attended my mom's funeral...and she spoke proudly of her family... I was a peer of Kathy's back in high school. I remember all of the flowers in her garden...and seem to recall her house being hit by a rare tornado once! In any case, just want to express my sympathy...a lovely lady. She'll join my mom in the garden of heaven...
