Not sure what to say?

You live on in my mind and my heart Miss Owens.

The Latin I learned from Miss Owens has stayed with me all these years. She put up with our misbehaving and taught us all the same. Then I had the pleasure of seeing her from time to time when I'd attend Blackwell with my Mom. I'm glad she was part of my life!

What a wonderful person Miss Mary was. I met her first in 1984 when I began working with the Museum of the Albemarle. She was a kind and generous supporter of the Museum; a friend to all the staff and a general pleasure to know. Rest in peace Miss Mary.

We always knew you as Aunt Mary and have fond memories of you playing your favorite card game, Spite and Malice. May you rest in peace.

I'm really going to miss you Mary. I'm glad I got to meet someone like you Mary. I love you

You was a shining light Mary.Love You MARY!

Mary,(mom) I will truly miss you. Thanks for all the fun and joy you brought into my life. From the first day i met you, you always made me smile. Love You Mary. Rest now.

I was Ms. Mary's Hospice nurse from Liberty Hospice. We spent many moments talking and laughing. She was such a joy to be around. She was gracious, beautiful and a wonderful friend. I am going to miss her so. Everyday when I would get ready to leave, I'd lean head towards hers and she would press her forehead to mine, smile and those blue eyes twinkling say, "I love you...come back to see me". Save me a place Ms. Mary.....I will be back to see you soon!!
