Maryanne E. (Aldred) Hudson, 78, a resident of Easton, died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Henry J. “Hank” Hudson. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Aldred, she was born in Boston and raised in Jamaica Plain. She was educated in Boston schools.
Maryanne was a resident of Stoughton for 36 years before moving to Easton with her favorite daughter in 2008. She was a waitress at Albert’s Restaurant in Stoughton for many years. She enjoyed music, dancing and traveling to casinos with her husband Hank. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Maryanne is survived by her children, Michael H. Hudson of Centerville and Gina M. Hudson of Easton as well as her grandchildren, Kayla, Leanna, Jake and Colin. She was the sister of Virginia “Ginny” Tomasello of Canton and the late Charles “Sonny” Aldred, Elaine Aldred, Marilyn Simmons, Robert “Bobby” Aldred and Paul Aldred. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 5 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maryanne‘s memory may be mailed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or donate online to stjude.org/donate.
