Not sure what to say?

Matt, your life and sacrifice will forever be remembered.

There's a flag in this "Field of Honor" in memory of Staff Sergeant Sitton

Matt was one of my soldiers that stood above the crop of good leaders that worked for me. I think about him almost daily and I am still trying to deal with the loss. I pray for Sarah their young child and the rest of the family. I will miss him and will never forget the impact he made on my life while we were deployed together.

To the Sitton family. Matt is an inspiraton to many and will be carried in our hearts forever. Love to you all.

Sarah I don't know you personally but my daughter Mallory Diamond (and my second daughter Kristana Lockhart Beko just got back from Afganistan for her second tour of duty) went to RVH and I know of you. I just want to say your Husband is a true hero and will NEVER be forgotten. Hold your head high and keep those precious memories close to your heart to share with yours/his son....so sorry you have to bear this at such a young age. RIP SSG Matthew S. Sitton

Sadness for the loss but deep respect for the sacrifice. May we all recognize and appreciate that the freedom we have is owed to SSG Sitton and others like him.
