“My deepest sympathy to Dorthy. Melvin was such a good neighbor on "R" Street. He was so kind to my parents in their late years. I also enjoyed Melvins kindness when I worked at the refinery. He definately made the world a better place.
“I remember Uncle Melvin visiting us for Thanksgiving when I was young in Kimball and we would watch David Copperfield on TV together at my grandparents house.
“Melvin and Dorothy were the greatest neighbors anyone could have. Melvin and Dorothy took care of our family in so many ways. Melvin will be greatly missed by our whole family and my thoughts are with Dorothy and her family.
“My condolences to Dorothy and the family. The first time I met Melvin & Dorothy, my mother-in-law Jane Brown took me to Gering from Spokane, WA. We drove into town during a tornado warning. We all got acquainted in the bomb shelter in Melvin & Dorothy's basement! They were very gracious to a frightened young girl. My prayers are with you.
“Our sympathy to the Brown family. Melvin was a wonderful man. It was always a pleasure, returning to Scottsbluff; as we always enjoyed seeing and visiting with Melvin and Dorothy. Our hears are saddened with your lost. Blessings, Darrell & Twilla Wanker
“My condolences to the Brown family, and my thoughts are with you. Safe travels to you, and I hope that you can cherish the memories in your loss.
“When I was younger, living in Scottsbluff, my folks had the nicest friends. Melvin and Dorothy Brown were two of those friends. I was so lucky to have fun with them, play cards with them, eat with them, dance with them, laugh with them and it was an honor to have known them. After I was married there were times we felt we were part of that group. Wonderful memories. Dorothy, we are so sorry for your losses. Knowing so many others care about you, hopefully, will make it easier for you. ...
“Uncle Melvin~ You will be missed your kind heart and Smile I will always remember ! My love to you in Heaven, your Great Niece Traci Brown-Bisson and Family xoxo
