He would always wheel himself over to my husbands room and we would talk talk talk. When I would visit on Sundays, after church, he always wanted to know how the sermon was. We took a liking to each other right away. My husband and I really miss the late night talks while watching television and eating goodies that I brought in for all of us. ...

It was hard to hear the passing of Uncle Melvin but I'm glad I was able to know him as a child and into a grown woman. He was a fun loving man and always kept me laughing. Uncle Melvin, you will truely be missed I love you and you will forever be in my heart!!
